In the late 1800s, Paul Kelly commanded an army of 1,500 mobsters engaged in a fierce battle over New York’s Five Points neighborhood. These thugs ran massive racketeering and prostitution rings while also finding time to brawl with their archrivals – Monk Eastman’s Jewish gang. Gunfire often echoed beneath Second Avenue elevated train line as these criminals battled for underworld dominance; violence that corrupt politicians from Tammany Hall falsely legitimized. There were no rules or limits; this lawless part of Manhattan felt more akin to the Wild West than urban America!

Perfect compliment to soap, a must buy with the soap
This matching splash offers a way to extend the fragrance beyond the shave but not much else. It is a simple formulation with no skin conditioners, basically alcohol and fragrance. I can’t lie and say I didn’t expect a little more, maybe some glycerin, aloe, or witch hazel but I’m fine following up with a balm.
Good scent strength!
Beautiful scent and soothes the skin after a shave. Matches the soap perfectly.
