this is the scent described by famed perfume critic Luca Turin as "Summer wind made smell" and "the greatest lavender of all time." We definitely agree.

Barrister’s Reserve Lavender is as smooth as lavender can get. Based on a beautiful aftershave from Wales, this is the scent described by famed perfume critic Luca Turin as "Summer wind made smell" and "the greatest lavender of all time." We definitely agree.

  • Elegant, smooth lavender unlike anything you've smelled before.

  • Absolute hard water tolerance.

  • Incredibly creamy, dense lather

  • Superlative slickness

  • Excellent post-shave feel

This review is for the older reserve base that Pasteur's is still selling. This product has been upgraded to the newer omnibus base but Pasteur's must still have older product to move. Great slick soap, but has some of the gooey marshmallow lathering issues depending on the brush you use to load, hence the single point deduction.
