Barrister & Mann Red Letter Day Aftershave Splash 3.5 oz

Intended as a celebration of our tenth anniversary on March 18th, Red Letter Day is comprised entirely of notes that scored 30% or more on our survey (nothing hit 40%), principally vanilla, bergamot, cedar, sandalwood, leather, and cedar.

It’s far from the rooty, dusty cedar that we have employed elsewhere, and the woody character of RLD is crisp and clean, with a touch of creaminess from the sandalwood laid over the base vanilla character. The tangy zest of bergamot and a touch of bitter leather round out the design, a striking contrast to the rest of Red Letter Day’s softly sweet, woody design. We weren’t sure that this was going to work, but the outcome of the project has exceeded all expectations.
